1 month down and 11 months to go! This year I have committed to reading more! So far, for January, I have completed 6 books, I think. ( someone out there is saying, “why is it, I think?”) I did finish an unfinished book from 2022, so that is a win!
Where are the book reviews?
I had a busy 2 months at work and didn’t schedule a time to write in my off time. Maintaining this blog made me realize planning and scheduling are essential to achieve goals set. A few book reviews that I have written will publish in February and March. Mainly romance books and women’s memoirs, respectively. February is the month of Love and fertility if you read the history, or February and March is Women’s history month.
Books I read in December/January:
Pandora’s Jar- A literary introspection of the woman in Greek Mythology. ( Hoping to post a review in March)
Neon God’s- A soft Erotic Romance Novel will hopefully be posted on February 9th, 2023
Drunk in Love- Jasmine Guillory’s newest book, and it’s spicy! ( posting February 2nd, 2023)
Book Lover’s- Hoping to post by February 16th, 2023
You May Need to Sit Down for This- A book I started in December and finally finished in January. Posting in March. I was closer to the end than I knew, because I finished it within 30 minutes of picking it back up.
Twice a Quinceanera- OMG, this book was phenomenal- sometimes in February/March the review will post.
The Proposal- Finally, read this book in full! Loved it! Sometime in February, a review will be posted.
According to the Story Graph, I completed 6 books in January. That means, technically, I read 1.5 books a week. I am so excited. Let’s see if we can keep this momentum going. Right now, I have two books, and neither of them really captures my attention. But maybe they are slow burners and will spark me as I get closer to finishing them. My goal is to finish them by next week. I already have my following 4 books lined up, and they are books I already have on my kindle/google books/ or sitting at home by my bed.
Until Next time,
Che Michelle
