*This is a lost book review. I typed it, I read it but never posted it to my blog. Please enjoy. I have planned to reread the book later in 2025. Below is the original review written back in 2022, I think.

I finished a book on my ever-growing reading list!  I realized I have a terrible habit. I start a book, then a new book is released. I end up reading the new book. This is how we end up with 105 presently reading books on GoodReads. I lost my two Kindles for a month. One was on a Kindle, and the other was on an old phone with the Kindle App. Now, I am back to reading!  I aimed to finish at least 3-6 books I started reading before the end of June. Before my Kindle disappeared for a month in February, I had already started reading two books. One was “We Should All Be Millionaires” by Rachel Rodgers. The other was “The Good Wife of Bath” by Karen Brooks.   I finished “We Should All Be Millionaires” this book on May 18th, 2022. (Side note, I wrote the review, was sidetracked and I didn’t publish this review until June 30th, 2025.)

I have been suggesting this book to everyone! To every woman I know, not because of the money-making aspect, but for a closer look at self-improvement. This perspective can help us improve our lives. The concepts and mindset Mrs. Rodgers, Esq., discusses in her book are why we are struggling and staying in a scarcity mindset. She challenges women who read this book to break the broken mindset. It was refreshing and a need to voice to change the mindset among women.

In the book, Rachel pushes you to build a million-dollar business. She also wants to change your mindset from scarcity to abundance.  Her tactics are practical and honest.   Throughout the book, she uses examples from clients, friends, and personal experiences.  Rodger’s book is structured to address the reader’s mindset and then replace it with a new one. She suggests saying something different. This approach shows that a simple shift helps to see that anything is possible.  I also appreciate her addressing friendship and squad goals; that was the hardest pill to swallow in her book. Friendship, is important not all friends add value, even if you decided to cut some friends out, Mrs. Rodgers, suggest how to replace them with people with a similar mindset.

Another aspect I enjoyed about this book is Honesty. She does not shame the reader for prior decisions. She does not guilt readers about wanting to enjoy Starbucks. So many self-help and financial books say cut and be frugal or work forty jobs. Rachel’s approach is practical. It honors a strategy that most of us can implement. It even permits time to spend on self-care and with loved ones. One example, she gives is if you spend all day cleaning and feel exhausted when you start your week. Consider obtaining a cleaning service, look at your budget, add a cleaning service that works best for you. It lets you reclaim time and energy. You might come up with a Millionaire dollar idea. Your time back is worth that cleaning service.

As a reader there are so many beautiful lessons and strategies within the book to get this book.  I plan to buy this book for several friends. I want them to change their mindset about money and time. Also, it is an empowering book to read at any stage of your life. It is perfect if you are graduating from college, facing financial challenges, and want to secure your future. It is also ideal if you are 40-plus and realize you want to live a life of comfort.  We should all be millionaires and find ways to change our mindset from scarcity to abundance.

After reading this book, I will re-read it this time. I will take notes. I will also do the exercises within the book. This is to ensure that I can implement the suggested changes.  Maybe by this time next year, I will be on my way to millionaire status.

Check this book out on Amazon! When I proofread and post this post, I will have an affiliate link so you can buy the book yourself.  You must buy the book to highlight areas that stick out and take notes.

Self-care and Boundaries will help you achieve your goals faster than wishing and hoping.

Until Next time,

Che Michelle – Future Millionaire

Update: I will re-read this book over the summer cause Mrs. Rodgers’ lessons still resonate with me daily.  Still no affiliate link yet, life got complicated.  Random nonsensical thought, this book does give very Taurus energy. It’s practical and easy to follow. It’s about improving your life to enjoy it.
